About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the design and execution of projects addressing clients’ strategic business questions
- Produce high-quality analyses, deliverables and insights
- Support account teams and build relationships with day-to-day client contacts
- Support proposal development through background research and scoping input
- Own discrete workstreams and support research, evidence collection, data analysis, synthesis of insights, and preparation of client presentations and reports
- Participate in client meetings and present findings where appropriate
- Apply and deepen therapeutic, clinical and commercial expertise
- Share emerging insights with the team and support Analysts with scientific and commercial concepts
- Attend relevant conferences to gather insights and synthesize learnings
- Support Analysts and Senior Analysts with research and analytical approaches
- Collaborate with Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers, Directors and the global analysis team
- Contribute to client development and commercialization strategies for biopharmaceutical assets and portfolios
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant experience within biopharmaceutical consulting, competitive intelligence, healthcare strategy or a related client-services environment; CI experience is preferred
- Therapeutic area experience in CVRM, immunology or infectious diseases, gained through consulting, competitive intelligence, industry or academic work
- Solid foundational knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry, especially clinical development
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Strong learning agility to adapt to rapid change and new situations
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
- Ability to give and receive feedback
- BA/BS required; an advanced life science degree is preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong project management skills
- Understanding of the evolving US biopharmaceutical landscape and key market trends
