About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve quota through new bookings, renewals, and expansion revenue across the South Texas territory and assigned portfolio
  • Own and manage school district accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Drive new customer acquisition and expansion through outbound prospecting, referrals, and inbound inquiries
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, consultative selling, presentations, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Develop customized solutions aligned with district needs in special education and mental health service delivery
  • Serve as trusted advisor and primary stakeholder contact
  • Ensure successful onboarding and implementation with internal teams
  • Manage escalations and coordinate resources to resolve issues
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to district leadership and decision-makers
  • Maintain pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting in Salesforce
  • Monitor account health and performance metrics, including renewals, pipeline activity, and revenue growth
  • Stay informed on K-12 trends, funding changes, and competitive landscape
  • Travel as needed for customer engagement and business development
  • Report to the VP, Revenue and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
  • Minimum 1+ year of K-12 experience, including selling into school districts and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing full sales cycles and growing new and existing accounts
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills and disciplined pipeline management
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes
  • Skilled negotiator with ability to handle objections and close effectively
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Edtech experience is a plus but not required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
  • Must be available during Core Working Hours, Monday–Friday, 12–5 p.m. ET, with standard business hours of 9 a.m.–6 p.m. local time
  • Travel required approximately 30–50%
