About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute multi-channel field marketing programs within a defined SLED territory
  • Deliver ABM plays, executive engagement, partner co-marketing, regional digital, content activation, pipeline acceleration, and events
  • Adapt and localize corporate campaign assets and messaging for regional relevance
  • Operate within playbooks and contribute field insights to improve them
  • Partner with sales to translate territory priorities into programs, content, and campaigns
  • Participate in territory planning, sales QBRs, and account team meetings
  • Support account-based plays, executive engagement preparation, and deal-specific follow-up
  • Own marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline contribution targets
  • Drive net-new opportunity generation, customer expansion, and deal acceleration
  • Track, measure, and report program performance, leads, pipeline, deal acceleration, and ROI
  • Execute ABM plays, executive forums, customer events, regional digital campaigns, and localized content activation
  • Coordinate partner co-marketing and MDF deployment
  • Support strategic SLED industry events, including state technology conferences, digital government summits, EDUCAUSE, and NASCIO
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, SDRs, Partner Marketing, Alliance teams, and other marketing partners
  • Share regional insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends with corporate teams
  • Manage MDF budgets, vendors, and logistics within defined guidelines
  • Maintain accurate reporting in CRM and marketing automation systems
  • Ensure consistent brand execution across field programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of B2B field marketing experience in a technology company
  • Proven track record executing multi-channel field marketing programs that drive measurable pipeline
  • Experience marketing to State & Local Government, Higher Education, or K-12 customers
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Experience partnering with sales teams and aligning marketing to territory goals
  • Solid understanding of ABM, executive engagement, and modern field marketing tactics
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to adapt corporate programs for local market relevance without compromising brand or message consistency
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in IT services, managed services, or technology channel environments preferred
  • Familiarity with ABM platforms such as 6sense and Demandbase, marketing automation such as Pardot, and CRM such as Salesforce preferred
  • Experience supporting partner co-marketing and MDF programs preferred
  • Knowledge of public sector and education buying cycles preferred
