About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop client-facing deliverables, including high-level solution summaries, proposals, staffing models, Statements of Work, and RFP/RFI responses
Translate complex cloud architectures into clear, commercially sound engagements
Lead the scoping of workshops
Assess, mobilize, and execute migrations of on-premises applications and legacy data centers to Azure
Design cloud security, identity, and access management strategies aligned with regulatory and compliance standards
Drive infrastructure as code and build automated CI/CD pipelines
Act as a subject matter expert and manage the sales cycle from requirements gathering through handoff to delivery
Own the proposal approval lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional reviews and internal stakeholder sign-off
Ensure client-facing deliverables meet Presidio's quality standards
Develop and implement standardized methodologies for solution design, deployment, and optimization
Incorporate industry-specific frameworks into solution methodologies
Expand the Solutions Architecture team within an industry-specific vertical
Enhance team expertise, standardize best practices, and deliver high-quality technical solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of relevant experience
5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, delivery, or similar customer-facing technical roles
3+ years of experience delivering and selling consulting and advisory services for strategic solutions such as IT strategy, Application Placement, and Cloud Governance
Deep Azure expertise across core services
Strong working knowledge of container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Well-Architected principles
Exceptional communication and executive presence with technical architects and C-suite stakeholders
Strong cloud migration and modernization experience, including lift-and-shift, re-platform, and re-architect approaches
Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, serverless, and event-driven Azure architectures
Experience with solution design methodologies and technical best practices
Expert-level knowledge of Azure core services
Proficiency in the Azure Well-Architected Framework across all five pillars
Hands-on experience designing multi-account, multi-region Azure architectures for enterprise environments
Experience architecting cloud migration strategies
Familiarity with Azure or third-party migration tooling
Experience building Azure cost calculations and cost models for client estimates and proposals
Active Azure certification is highly preferred
