About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform Remote Key Injection (RKI) on payment terminals and related devices
Configure devices according to merchant file builds and deployment specifications
Test hardware and payment functionality to confirm readiness
Stage, prep, label, and package devices for shipment
Ensure accurate assignment of hardware to the correct merchant, MID, and location
Maintain organized inventory control and tracking logs
Follow documented SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate configuration or hardware issues
Coordinate with deployment, fulfillment, and support teams to meet launch timelines
Prepare hardware so it is fully RKI’d, correctly file-built, tested, labeled, and matched to the exact merchant and location
Reduce operational errors, shipment mistakes, rework, and hardware-related support escalations
Maintain clean handoffs, audit-ready documentation, and consistent execution as deployment volume scales

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–3 years of experience in hardware configuration, payments, POS systems, or technical operations preferred
Experience with payment terminals and POS hardware strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Process-oriented mindset with the ability to follow structured workflows
Comfortable working with technical systems and configuration tools
Ability to manage multiple builds while maintaining accuracy
Strong communication skills and team collaboration
Meticulous execution and quality control
Operational discipline and accountability
Inventory accuracy and documentation
Deadline management

Ability to lift 10 pounds
