About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure all aspects of the IntelliPen administration system to meet client requirements
  • Configure workflows, data maintenance screens, interfaces with other systems, pensioner payroll, data migrations, reports and benefit calculations
  • Meet with clients to gather requirements
  • Communicate with clients throughout software customisation to obtain feedback and approval
  • Customise software systems according to client needs and specifications
  • Educate clients on IntelliPen and customised system features
  • Engage with the training team when required
  • Create client and internal documentation
  • Support software release and upgrade processes when required
  • Build credibility with internal and external clients
  • Report to a Team Leader and collaborate with colleagues across the business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in implementing software systems
  • Adaptable and agile
  • Responsible and reliable professional with a consultative approach
  • Understanding of business processes and workflows
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver rapid outcomes
  • Confidence to adapt and learn new programmes and systems
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and organisational skills
  • High degree of numeracy
  • Experience configuring or developing pensions or financial services software
  • Microsoft full suite proficiency
  • Experience managing databases using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Experience of T-SQL
  • Alternative programming knowledge, including Excel macros or similar
