About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and lead the overarching strategy for organic brand conversation, share of voice, and community engagement across social platforms
  • Create calendars of Brand Idea-led social tentpoles across branded assets, celebrity, influencer, external partnerships, experiential executions, and user-generated content
  • Design and implement repeatable social flywheel systems and frameworks
  • Own the editorial vision and content framework for Skin Care
  • Guide brand-led and creator-generated content optimized for social platforms
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies for content ideation, creation, repurposing, and testing
  • Identify, onboard, and manage influencer, creator, and ambassador programs
  • Foster community engagement and convert followers into brand advocates and co-creators
  • Conceptualize and execute social strategies integrated with experiential activations
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and Sales teams around retailer tentpoles and promotional events
  • Define and track KPIs including organic reach, engagement, audience growth, sentiment, referral traffic, and marketing-qualified leads/sales pipeline
  • Establish experimentation roadmaps and optimize content, posting strategies, AI workflows, and engagement tactics using data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Media, Communications, Product Development, and Sales teams
  • Present insights, strategies, and recommendations to senior leadership and act as a thought leader in social media, organic growth, and beauty

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in social media marketing, content strategy, growth marketing, or community leadership
  • Significant experience in the Beauty, Personal Care, or Consumer Goods sector, ideally Skin Care
  • Proven track record of significantly growing organic audiences, engagement, and brand talkability across diverse social platforms for major brands
  • Hands-on experience orchestrating branded assets, influencer, social media, and experiential activities
  • Experience building and scaling creator, influencer, and/or employee advocacy programs within the beauty industry
  • Deep understanding of social platform algorithms, content distribution best practices, and emerging social trends relevant to Skin Care consumers
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, complex project management, and execution capabilities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills
  • Preferred: experience with integrated marketing campaigns involving large-scale experiential activations and complex retailer partnerships
  • Preferred: experience leveraging AI tools and advanced analytics platforms
  • Preferred: familiarity with the creator economy and modern creator business models within the beauty space
  • Preferred: passion for consumer insights and culturally relevant social strategies
  • Preferred: strong personal brand or demonstrable thought leadership in social media/beauty marketing
