About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver resident programs and services across assigned communities in alignment with Project Access program model, contracts, and core initiative areas
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate in-person and virtual programs, workshops, and community-building activities for youth, families, adults, and seniors
- Build resident relationships through in-person outreach, phone communication, and app-based communication
- Encourage resident participation in the Project Access app, share resources, promote events, and support engagement with app features and services
- Manage each site’s virtual presence through the content management system by posting announcements, events, newsletters, and community updates
- Moderate app-based community activity to maintain a respectful, safe, and welcoming environment
- Host and support virtual programming through the app and ensure it complements onsite programming
- Provide residents with information, referrals, and connections to community resources and service providers
- Develop and maintain relationships with property management, community partners, and service providers
- Coordinate food distributions, resource deliveries, and other supportive service activities
- Maintain program records, participation data, routine reports, and required documentation
- Assist with newsletters, calendars, flyers, and other outreach materials
- Monitor resident participation, engagement, and program outcomes for continuous improvement
- Provide coverage at other Family and Senior Resource Centers during staff vacancies, PTO, or leaves of absence, including managing day-to-day site operations
- Support health fairs, community events, special projects, outreach, and app engagement at other sites
- Provide temporary support at sites needing additional help, including when no specific staffing gap exists
- Use a personal vehicle to obtain program supplies and attend off-site meetings, trainings, and events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Four years of experience in multi-family housing or related fields such as social services or community outreach; OR a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field
- Experience with youth programs serving diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency and community awareness
- Experience with virtual program delivery, webinars, content creation, or online community management strongly preferred
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Teams) and Outlook
- Basic proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Salesforce, and Concur
- Experience with mobile applications, content management systems, database management, community-based platforms, and social media platforms preferred
- Skills using iOS and Android mobile devices, including cell phones and tablets
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle simultaneous requests
- Excellent verbal, written, phone-based customer service, and active listening skills
- Creative and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-start, multitask, and adapt between in-person and virtual service delivery
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current automobile insurance
- CPR and First Aid certified, or certification obtained within 90 days of hire
- Successful completion of background check
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays and evenings and travel outside the immediate Bay Area to other Northern California locations as assigned
