About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide hands-on leadership and management in accounting and financial reporting
  • Act as a strategic business partner by analyzing financial and operational results, identifying performance drivers and risks, and providing actionable insights
  • Ensure accurate, complete, timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies
  • Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning
  • Oversee contract and order reviews for revenue recognition, documentation, and ASC 606 compliance
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including cutoff, journal entries, reconciliations, inventory accounting, financial statement preparation, and management reporting
  • Maintain fixed asset records and prepare capital expenditure requests and justifications
  • Perform job costing analysis and forecast project outcomes
  • Partner with the Tax Department on compliance and filings
  • Lead maintenance of the company’s ERP and other business information systems
  • Partner with manufacturing, sales, service, purchasing, engineering, and other functions to evaluate performance and support decisions
  • Develop talent through coaching, performance management, and organizational influence
  • Work with Shared Services on order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and accounting operations
  • Assess financial and operational risks, maintain internal controls, and remediate control deficiencies
  • Promote profitable growth through financial stewardship, operational support, risk management, and disciplined decision-making
  • Report to the division Vice President/General Manager with dotted-line reporting to the Vice President of Finance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • B.S. in Accounting or Finance
  • 8-10 years’ experience in finance and accounting
  • Strong preference for experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in financial analysis
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Excel and Word
  • Experience with various ERP and software programs; Syteline preferred
  • Good written and oral communications skills
  • Analytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, use intuition and experience to complement data, and design workflows and procedures
  • Proven hands-on team player driven to meet company goals
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
