About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Press Operator during press setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime
- Stage ink, plates, cores, and materials for upcoming jobs
- Retrieve ink from inventory
- Cut and prepare cores as needed
- Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins
- Assist with routine press maintenance
- Support efficient production workflows
- Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production on schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned to support press and production operations
- Work in a 24/7 flexographic printing operation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior experience not required; training provided
- Work effectively in an active team environment
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Differentiate colors
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Read a ruler to 1/32 of an inch
- Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and safety requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; Pro Mach uses E-Verify
- Must comply with drug-free workplace requirements
