About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the full lifecycle of packaging projects for assigned clients
- Monitor and communicate project milestones and progress to ensure on-time, on-budget execution
- Partner across Brand Development to identify and resolve project issues
- Oversee end-to-end packaging artwork workflow
- Manage high-volume project timelines, planning, task management, priorities, and deadlines
- Liaise between management, internal departments, and clients to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions
- Coordinate artwork production and prepress, including pre-production calls
- Translate client instructions into measurable communication for end users
- Lead or participate in project meetings and manage action items
- Manage projects and routing approvals in workflow tools
- Develop and streamline workflow processes and optimize project organization
- Set up projects and approvers, and onboard workflow-tool users
- Create estimates and manage purchase orders
- Verify technical and content accuracy of supplied artwork
- Refine and enforce quality-control processes
- Report production issues and support continuous improvement
- Monitor color quality, timelines, and corrective actions
- Build client relationships, anticipate needs, measure satisfaction, and identify business opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Microsoft Office experience required
- Fully conversant with Adobe CS or Adobe certification is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of artwork management systems
- Able to work effectively and efficiently towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands
- Comfortable with interacting with clients of all levels, printers and suppliers
- Must be forward thinking and improvement driven
- Entry level role; equivalent of 2-3 years of experience preferred
- Previous experience in customer service and/or project management and/or Project Management Certification a plus
- Experience in packaging, artwork, creative project management, print, production, design, art industry, pre-press, or color management theory beneficial
- High School or better
