About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the end-to-end process of order handling for assigned suppliers
Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders
Maintain compliance with internal procurement policies and supplier agreements
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, trade compliance data, transportation information, and order status
Obtain, analyze, and upload supplier catalogues to ensure pricing and product information are correctly formatted and integrated into the ERP system
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support smooth procurement workflows, cost accuracy, and service-level expectations
Cultivate and sustain strong, long-term relationships with assigned suppliers
Serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholder and decisionmaker groups
Monitor each supplier’s environment, influences, performance, and challenges
Support quarterly business reviews, which may be held in person at the supplier’s location, on site at Proponent’s location, or virtually

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field
3-5 years of related work experience
Microsoft Office, Excel, & PowerPoint proficiency
Background in hardware fasteners
Strong analytical sourcing experience
Experience in data analysis
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments, including Quality, Trade Compliance, Operations etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with ERP systems and purchasing software applications
