About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing worldwide Field Engineering organization
Manage regional and functional Application Engineering leaders across multiple territories
Own the end-to-end technical customer journey across global accounts, from initial engagement and evaluation through IP integration, deployment, and ongoing adoption
Oversee integration of IPs and related EDA tools into customer silicon design flows, including RTL, synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis
Develop trusted relationships with senior technical and executive stakeholders at strategic customers
Partner with Sales and Business Development on strategic accounts, technical sales cycles, design wins, and business expansion opportunities
Lead customer engagements, technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and enablement activities
Position company solutions and drive business growth
Drive technical review meetings to understand customer technical challenges, requirements, and innovation opportunities
Partner with senior leadership across R&D, Product Management, and Program Management to translate customer feedback and market needs into new features, products, and solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
Significant experience in Field Engineering, Applications Engineering, Customer Engineering, or a related technical customer-facing role
Proven experience leading and scaling global technical organizations through multiple layers of management across geographies
Strong hands-on technical foundation in semiconductor design and physical design flows, including synthesis, place & route, STA, and SoC/ASIC
Experience with semiconductor IP and/or EDA solutions and their integration into customer design environments
Proven track record managing strategic, executive-level relationships with leading semiconductor companies
Technical depth, customer orientation, business acumen, and executive presence
Ability to collaborate with Sales, R&D, Product Management, Program Management, and senior customer stakeholders
Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel globally
