About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help clients in finance, operations, people and change
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions to complex business problems
  • Work across various industries and engage in internal initiatives
  • Receive project experiences assigned by Talent Managers based on career growth, skills, and business needs
  • Work in one of four areas: Finance Performance Management; Financial Reporting Remediation & Compliance; People & Change; or Supply Chain & Operations
  • Support finance leaders with efficiency, productivity, and transformation solutions
  • Help companies address financial reporting, accounting, compliance, restatements, mergers, and IPO-related challenges
  • Help organizations improve employee experiences, attract and retain talent, and enable sustained behavior change
  • Support companies in reducing costs, improving efficiency, reducing risk, and executing supply chain and operations functions
  • Work both in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, with possible local or out-of-state travel
  • Complete work in the designated location during business hours for the entire internship

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, Supply Chain, or another business major
  • Authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship
  • Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Copilot and GenAI
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements across various industries
  • Technical proficiency aligned to the assigned capability area
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently
  • Creative and analytical approach
  • Passion for evaluating, synthesizing, organizing, and interpreting data and information
  • Growth mindset and willingness to embrace challenges
  • Relevant experience with accounting and finance processes and objectives
  • Ability to document findings and share recommendations
  • Entry-level knowledge of organizational operations processes and objectives
  • Drive toward obtaining professional certifications and a strong academic background
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the internship
  • Successful completion of a background check is required as a condition of employment
