About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead client relationships and provide guidance throughout engagement completion
- Manage risk associated with clients’ use of Digital Identity technologies
- Develop strategies and solutions for complex business problems using analytics, automation, and current tools and methods
- Develop new projects, identify new business, and build lasting client and community relationships
- Serve as a Protiviti ambassador in the market
- Mentor teams and provide growth and development opportunities
- Oversee successful completion of project work plans
- Develop strategic solutions, value-based proposals, and large identity programs
- Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and deliver exceptional client experiences
- Lead project management and teams while fostering positive team culture
- Create and roll out training and other team development opportunities
- Discover prospective project work through networking, knowledge-building, and client interactions
- Integrate product solutions and resources to improve client service capabilities
- Translate client challenges into new project proposals and sales opportunities
- Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge-sharing across teams
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
- Work in Protiviti offices and on client sites, with local or out-of-state travel as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, Computer Science, etc.)
- 9+ years working in identity and access management, in professional services, consulting, or a large Fortune 500 organization
- Demonstrated experience with SailPoint, Saviynt, Veza, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, and Delinea
- Experience establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives
- Experience pursuing business development opportunities and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele
- Ability to communicate business value and technical/project-related issues and risks to client personnel, including executives
- Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including performance appraisals, mentoring, coaching, work oversight and review, coordination across teams, and motivating teams
- Experience delivering strategic IAM and/or PAM program advisory support, including assessment, strategy, and roadmap development
- Experience with Identity Governance and Administration, including user access lifecycle management
- Experience designing and/or implementing IGA technology
- Experience designing and/or implementing Access Management technology
- Proficiency with role-based access control, including role mining and design
- Knowledge of directory technologies including Microsoft Entra AD, LDAP, or virtual directories
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, change management, and release management practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional/matrixed organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; secondary emphasis on Visio and Access
- Professional certification such as identity vendor certifications or similar strongly preferred
- Successful completion of a background check required as a condition of employment
