About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with Protiviti teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions to complex business problems
  • Work with leading companies across varied industries and develop capabilities through diverse project experiences
  • Assess risks, analyze data, document observations, and communicate insights for client engagements
  • Develop understanding of business processes, regulatory environments, risk/control frameworks, AI-enabled analysis, data interrogation, and audit methodology
  • Build professional relationships with client and project team personnel
  • Manage time and priorities, take ownership of assignments, and contribute to team outcomes
  • Participate in hands-on training and work with leaders across the practice
  • Complete project experiences assigned by Talent Managers to support career growth and business needs
  • Business Process Audit and Advisory: explore business processes, identify and mitigate emerging risks, develop solutions, support regulatory and compliance requirements, and improve process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Technology Audit and Advisory: assess and advise on cybersecurity, AI risk, data governance, cloud, privacy, software development, technology resilience, controls, regulatory compliance, and technology governance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
  • Authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks, such as Microsoft Copilot and GenAI
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements across various industries
  • Technical proficiency aligned with the assigned capability area
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently
  • Creativity and analytical thinking for problem-solving
  • Ability to evaluate, synthesize, organize, and interpret data effectively
  • Growth mindset and contribution to meaningful outcomes
  • Willingness to seek feedback and guidance
  • Strong academic background
  • Drive toward obtaining professional certifications
  • Understanding of internal audit processes, emerging technologies, frameworks, and audit objectives

  • Entry-level proficiency in software development, best practices, and methodologies
