Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with clients to solve complex business problems and provide impactful advice and solutions
Develop lasting relationships with client personnel through quality product delivery
Foster a network within the business community and serve as a Protiviti ambassador in the market
Mentor, train, and coach Consultants and Senior Consultants
Facilitate successful completion of project work plans
Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms using AWS, Amazon EKS, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices
Work with client stakeholders, engineering teams, architects, and executive leadership to accelerate cloud adoption and improve business outcomes
Lead cloud platform assessments, modernization programs, containerization initiatives, migration efforts, and operational transformation engagements
Contribute to business development, solution development, and cloud thought leadership
Lead architecture, implementation, and management of AWS-based cloud platforms
Design and administer enterprise-scale Kubernetes environments using Amazon EKS
Develop highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud-native architectures
Establish CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices
Build monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities
Design secure cloud architectures aligned with security and compliance standards
Optimize cloud performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
Provide technical leadership across client engagements and delivery teams
Mentor cloud engineers and architects and promote engineering excellence
Support proposal development, solution architecture, and new business pursuits
Maintain relationships with delivery engineers and architects so proposed solutions reflect implementation experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, IS, Comp Sci., etc.)
5+ years working in professional services industry
Required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
Preferred: AWS Certified Security – Specialty
Experience designing and implementing modern AWS cloud solutions
Interest in AWS trends and developments
Interest in project management and team leadership
Experience or ability to lead architecture, implementation, and management of AWS-based cloud platforms
Experience designing and administering enterprise-scale Kubernetes environments using Amazon EKS
Experience developing highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud-native architectures
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices
Experience building observability capabilities using monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
Experience designing secure cloud architectures aligned with industry security and compliance standards
Experience leading cloud migration, containerization, and application modernization initiatives
Ability to optimize cloud performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
Ability to provide technical leadership across client engagements and delivery teams
Ability to mentor cloud engineers and architects
Ability to support proposal development, solution architecture, and new business pursuits
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and senior technology leaders
