Partner with clients to identify and manage risk

Design, build, migrate, and secure infrastructure, networking, and cloud systems and environments
Develop lasting client relationships through quality product delivery

Mentor teams and provide performance development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, or relevant field, or equivalent experience delivering technology or consulting solutions
7+ years working in professional services or related fields
Recent hands-on design, deployment, and/or administration experience in Windows Server and Linux systems administration
Working familiarity with Unix variants and Mac OS
Working familiarity with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and other IaaS providers preferred
Strong enterprise networking design, deployment, and/or administration experience
Familiarity with enterprise-class networking vendors and product lines, including Cisco, Cisco Meraki, HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Extreme, and Brocade
Familiarity with enterprise-class network security appliance vendors and product lines, including Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, and Fortinet
Familiarity with load balancers and VPN appliances/concentrators
In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN segmentation, routing and switching, and wireless networking
Strong familiarity with SMB and entry-level on-premises computing infrastructure technologies
Familiarity with server hardware vendors and management platforms, including Dell, HPE, Cisco, and SuperMicro
Familiarity with hypervisor platforms, including VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV
Strong familiarity with enterprise storage, DAS, SAN, and NAS/filer solutions
Understanding of iSCSI, CIFS, Fibre Channel, and NFS
Strong familiarity with on-premises infrastructure management best practices, rack management, power and cooling demand management, and physical security
Strong familiarity with administrative, auditing, and operational scripting
Prior experience writing PowerShell, Python, BASH, or other Linux shell scripts strongly preferred
Experience with infrastructure and server/endpoint management toolsets, performance and capacity management tools, endpoint management/RMM platforms, patch and vulnerability management tools, and log/event aggregation technologies such as Kafka, SIEMs, and Splunk
Experience with capacity planning, VM/server right-sizing, and performance analysis
Experience designing server, network, and application solutions through deployment
Experience administering Office 365; Microsoft Exchange and Google G Suite/Workspace experience is a plus
Experience designing, building, or remediating environments to meet PCI-DSS, CMMC, or NIST 800-53 requirements
Experience translating undocumented systems, applications, and operating procedures into usable documentation
Ability to create or update dependency maps and architecture overviews
Experience integrating IT systems in a post-merger/acquisition environment
Experience with application rationalization and dependency mapping exercises
Experience designing, implementing, or administering backup and replication/continuity solutions
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or other project management methods
Experience translating business requirements into technical configurations/solutions
Experience dealing with third-party hardware/software/service vendors preferred
Experience translating business continuity/disaster recovery requirements into technical solution designs preferred
Business relationship and professional network development, including with senior executives
Successful pursuit of business development opportunities and new clientele
Ability to communicate issues, risks, and challenges to client personnel, including executives
Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including performance appraisals, mentoring, coaching, work review, and team coordination
Professional certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or DevOps Engineer Expert strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written English
Ability to collaborate with executives, system/application owners, and stakeholders
Ability to shift rapidly between planning/design and practical execution
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
