Key responsibilities & impact

Lead complex technology consulting engagements
Strengthen strategic client relationships and manage technology risk
Develop practical solutions using analytics, automation, and modern tools
Ensure high-quality delivery and oversee successful project delivery
Identify new business and represent Protiviti in the market
Mentor teams and create development opportunities, including training and improvement initiatives
Contribute to client proposals and strategies to win new business
Identify opportunities to integrate product solutions and resources to improve client service capabilities
Own architecture and technical outcomes for significant AWS engagements
Translate ambiguity into implementable AWS plans
Provide authoritative guidance to client technology leaders
Improve team quality and efficiency through reusable architectures, standards, and engineering patterns
Identify legitimate, well-scoped follow-on work
Translate objectives into AWS implementation strategies and lead architecture decisions across networking, identity, security, automation, resilience, observability, operating models, AWS Well-Architected, and compliance requirements
Guide and mentor cloud engineers and review critical deliverables and architecture decisions
Direct resolution of complex delivery challenges
Ensure sustainable operational transition and manage major technical risks and dependencies
Identify improvements to architecture, security, reliability, automation, and operating models
Develop reusable reference architectures, delivery patterns, and technical standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of hands-on AWS experience across multiple service domains
Strong Python development skills with production-quality coding practices
Familiarity with ML lifecycle tooling (SageMaker, MLflow, or equivalent)
Experience with agentic AI frameworks and managed agent runtimes (AgentCore, Bedrock Agents)
Experience embedding within cross-functional teams, including Data Science and Platform Engineering
Required AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification
Required AWS Certified Generative AI Developer certification
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as MIS, IS, or Computer Science
7+ years working in professional services or industry
Successful completion of a background check as a condition of employment
Must be able to work in a hybrid model, in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, with local or out-of-state travel as required
Protiviti is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska
