Lead complex technology consulting engagements
Strengthen strategic client relationships and manage technology risk
Develop practical solutions using analytics, automation, and modern tools while ensuring high-quality delivery
Identify new business and represent Protiviti in the market
Mentor teams and oversee successful project delivery
Own architecture and technical outcomes for significant AWS engagements
Translate ambiguity into implementable AWS plans
Provide authoritative guidance to client technology leaders
Improve team quality and efficiency through reusable architectures, standards, and engineering patterns
Identify well-scoped follow-on work addressing legitimate client needs
Bridge data science research and production-grade AWS deployments
Translate objectives into AWS implementation strategies and lead architecture decisions across networking, identity, security, automation, resilience, observability, operating models, AWS Well-Architected, and compliance requirements
Guide and mentor cloud engineers, review critical deliverables and architecture decisions, and resolve complex delivery challenges
Ensure sustainable operational transition and manage major technical risks and dependencies
Identify improvements to architecture, security, reliability, automation, and operating models
Develop reusable reference architectures, delivery patterns, and technical standards
Contribute to client proposals and strategies to win new business
Integrate product solutions and resources to improve client service capabilities
Create and roll out training and development opportunities for team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of hands-on AWS experience across multiple service domains
Strong Python development skills with production-quality coding practices
Familiarity with ML lifecycle tooling such as SageMaker, MLflow, or equivalent
Experience with agentic AI frameworks and managed agent runtimes, including AgentCore and Bedrock Agents
Experience embedding within cross-functional teams such as Data Science and Platform Engineering
Required AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification
Required AWS Certified Generative AI Developer certification
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as MIS, IS, or Computer Science
7+ years working in professional services or industry
Preferred Solutions Architect Professional, ML Specialty, or DevOps Engineer certification
Successful completion of a background check
