Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join Protiviti's growing Business Performance Improvement team as a People Advisory & Organizational Change Senior Consultant
  • Mentor, train, and coach Interns and Consultants
  • Facilitate successful completion of project work plans
  • Identify risks and opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Strengthen relationships and communicate, build trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates
  • Support project scope and work-plan development under Manager direction
  • Support project staffing and preparation of deliverables
  • Apply organizational design and advisory methodologies
  • Lead current- and future-state organizational design and organizational modeling engagements
  • Facilitate role design, job architecture, job family structuring, and job mapping efforts
  • Conduct activity analysis, capacity planning, and workforce sizing
  • Design target operating models and interaction models that translate strategy into structure
  • Independently own workstreams while keeping engagement leadership informed
  • Lead stakeholder interviews and facilitate working sessions and leadership workshops
  • Develop executive-ready deliverables, project documentation, and client-facing presentations
  • Structure and maintain workforce data for analysis and modeling
  • Evaluate and interpret organizational and workforce data
  • Establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network
  • Communicate organizational design issues, risks, and challenges to client personnel and executives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 2+ years working at the Senior Consultant level
  • 3–5 years of overall experience in organizational design, organizational effectiveness, or workforce/HR advisory in professional services or industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HRIS/workforce data from Workday, SuccessFactors, or Oracle
  • Experience or understanding of current- and future-state organizational design and modeling, including spans and layers, org health, org shape, and IC-to-manager ratio analysis
  • Experience facilitating role design, job architecture, job family structuring, and job mapping
  • Experience conducting activity analysis, capacity planning, and workforce sizing
  • Experience designing target operating models and interaction models
  • Ability to independently own a workstream with minimal day-to-day oversight
  • Experience leading stakeholder interviews, working sessions, and leadership workshops using design-thinking approaches
  • Experience developing executive-ready deliverables, project documentation, and client-facing presentations
  • Ability to structure and maintain clean, well-governed workforce data
  • Ability to evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret organizational and workforce data
  • Ability to establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network
  • Ability to communicate organizational design issues, risks, and challenges to client personnel, including executives
  • Supervisory experience, including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and motivating teams
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Visio is a plus
  • Familiarity with Orgvue or comparable platforms such as Nakisa is a plus, though not required
  • Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PMP, or similar is strongly preferred
  • Successful completion of a background check is required as a condition of employment
  • Must be eligible for employment in the United States; Protiviti is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska
