About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and deliver Microsoft 365 modernization initiatives, including tenant-to-tenant migrations, SharePoint transformations, and collaboration platform adoption
- Mentor, train, and coach Interns and Consultants
- Facilitate successful completion of project work plans
- Identify project risks and opportunities to increase efficiency
- Strengthen relationships and communicate with client personnel and professional associates
- Support project scope and work-plan development, staffing, deliverables, and methodology decisions under Manager direction
- Deliver Microsoft 365 business solutions across Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online
- Assess SharePoint environments and plan remediation for migrations
- Lead content migrations from SharePoint on-premises, network file shares, and legacy ECM platforms
- Plan and deliver tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations, including collaboration, content, permissions, and governance configurations
- Develop and use PowerShell scripts for assessments, migration automation, deployment, validation, and tenant administration
- Implement Power Platform solutions and Power BI reports
- Work with Microsoft Security & Compliance applications, including Purview, Defender, Intune, and Entra
- Translate and communicate issues, risks, and challenges to clients, including executives
- Supervise teams and coordinate work across teams
- Contribute to a positive team culture and develop improvement opportunities for team members and clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as MIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree
- 2+ years experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise solutions with Microsoft technologies within a related field or professional services
- Experience delivering business solutions on Microsoft 365, including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online
- Experience with Power Platform, including PowerApps Portal, Power Automate and Apps, and Power BI reports implementations
- Experience assessing and preparing SharePoint environments for migration to SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business
- Experience leading and executing content migrations using third-party migration tools and PowerShell automation
- Experience planning and delivering tenant-to-tenant migrations across Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience developing and leveraging PowerShell scripts
- Experience with Microsoft Security & Compliance applications, including Purview, Defender, Intune, and Entra
- Working knowledge of Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Social Networking, Enterprise Content Management, and/or Business Process and Forms
- Working knowledge of Data Protection strategies within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Experience with requirements management, development methodologies, testing, documentation, and solution rollout
- Experience evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data
- Ability to establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network
- Ability to communicate issues, risks, and challenges to client personnel, including executives
- Supervisory experience including mentoring, oversight, work review, cross-team coordination, and motivating teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; secondary emphasis on Visio and Access
- Authorization to work in Canada for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
- Successful completion of a background check
