About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Consult with clients to provide solutions to complex identity and access management challenges
  • Implement identity tools and processes in client environments
  • Mentor, train, and coach Interns and Consultants
  • Facilitate successful completion of project work plans
  • Identify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Strengthen relationships and deepen communication, trust, and networking with client personnel and professional associates
  • At Managers’ direction, support decision-making on project scope, work plans, staffing, deliverables, and methodologies
  • Provide strategic IAM and/or PAM program advisory support, including assessments, strategies, and roadmaps
  • Work with identity governance, privileged access management, customer identity management, and secrets and key management
  • Contribute to positive team culture and create development opportunities for team members
  • Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries
  • Work in person at local Protiviti offices and on client sites, including local or out-of-state travel as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as MIS, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years working in professional services or industry
  • Experience with or understanding of Okta (preferred), Saviynt (preferred), CyberArk, and Entra ID / Azure AD
  • Experience delivering strategic IAM and/or PAM program advisory support, including assessment, strategy, and roadmap development
  • Experience with Identity Governance and Administration, including user access lifecycle management
  • Design and/or implementation of IGA technologies such as SailPoint, Saviynt, and Veza
  • Design and/or implementation of Access Management technologies such as Okta and Ping Identity
  • Proficiency with role-based access control, including role mining and design
  • Knowledge of directory technologies including Microsoft Entra AD, LDAP, or virtual directories
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, change management, and release management practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional/matrixed organization
  • Ability to evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data
  • Ability to establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network
  • Ability to translate and communicate challenges to client personnel, including executives
  • Supervisory experience including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and motivating team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; secondary emphasis on Visio and Access
  • Professional identity vendor certification preferred
  • Successful completion of a background check is required as a condition of employment
