  • Conduct gap analyses and recommend solutions or enhancements
  • Lead Workday application control reviews and risk assessments
  • Assess Workday platforms in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts
  • Evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data
  • Establish and cultivate business relationships and professional networks
  • Pursue business development opportunities and strategies to obtain new work or clientele
  • Communicate issues, risks, and challenges to client personnel, including executives
  • Conduct performance appraisals, mentor and coach team members, review work, coordinate across teams, and motivate staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Information Technology/MIS, Engineering)
  • 7+ years working in a related field or professional services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Secondary proficiency emphasis on Visio and Access
  • Professional Certification such as Workday HCM and/or Payroll or similar strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a Workday solution architect and workstream lead for HCM and Payroll
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex Workday HCM and payroll implementations
  • Experience developing Workday HCM and payroll implementation plans, including estimating effort, timing and costs
  • Functional and systems experience focused on HCM and Payroll business functions
  • Experience designing and implementing Workday HCM and Payroll configurations
  • Experience with requirements definition, design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support
  • Experience implementing best practices for Workday HCM and Payroll, including data accuracy, security, and compliance
  • Experience conducting gap analysis between business needs and Workday capabilities
  • Experience leading and performing Workday application control reviews and risk assessments
  • Ability to evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data
  • Experience establishing business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives
  • Experience pursuing business development opportunities
  • Ability to translate and communicate issues, risks, or challenges to client personnel, including executives
  • Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including performance appraisals, mentoring, coaching, work review, and team coordination
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, including in-person work at local Protiviti offices and client sites, with possible local or out-of-state travel
