  • Work on varied technology consulting projects across business platform transformation; enterprise data, analytics and AI; Microsoft; security and privacy; technology risk and resilience; and technology strategy and architecture
  • Compile and analyze data, document findings, and communicate insights for client engagements
  • Develop understanding of business processes and technical skills in general risk areas
  • Build professional relationships with clients and project team personnel
  • Manage time and priorities, take ownership of assignments, and contribute to team results
  • Receive hands-on training and interact with practice leaders
  • Participate in project experiences assigned by Talent Managers based on career growth, skills, and business needs
  • Collaborate with advisors, committees, employee network groups, and community activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Internet of Things, Applied Math, Machine Learning, or Quantum
  • Authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or GenAI
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements across various industries
  • Technical proficiency aligned to the assigned capability area
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently
  • Creative and analytical approach
  • Ability to evaluate, synthesize, organize, and interpret data and information

  • Drive toward obtaining professional technical certifications and strong academic background
  • Understanding of major business intelligence reporting tools, such as Power BI, BusinessObjects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, Tableau, QlikView, or SSRS
  • Competency with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata, or other major database management systems
  • Entry-level proficiency with domain management strategies, network segmentation, firewalls, and middleware tools
  • Introductory knowledge of internal control frameworks or IT controls and business/technology risks
  • Familiarity with technology project risks and risk mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge of security topics including authentication, entitlements, identity management, data protection, data leakage prevention, validation checking, encryption, hashing, least privilege, software attack methods, and data storage
  • Familiarity with core ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday and system implementation concepts
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Foundational understanding of cybersecurity, resilience, risk management frameworks, and industry regulation
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern customer technology environments
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Ability to synthesize research, develop clear documentation, and communicate findings effectively in team settings
  • Experience working with data for AI or automation use cases, including data cleaning and model support
  • Ability to apply AI tools to enhance work efficiency, streamline analysis, and improve project delivery
  • Successful completion of a background check required as a condition of employment
  • Programming skills such as Python, Java, and JavaScript preferred
