About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Spend the first weeks of each engagement learning operational constraints from inside the client’s function
Rebuild business functions from first principles alongside clients and a Forward Deployed Executive
Build and deliver production AI systems
Work as part of the customer’s team and inside its processes
Own the engagement method autonomously from framing through production
Start engagements from Provectus industry Blueprints and feed field learnings back into them
Deliver Cowork Activation, Agentic SDLC, and Blueprint Activations in Financial Services and Healthcare
Help enterprises adopt AI from strategy through first deployment
Build tooling and frameworks for a growing AI delivery practice
Visit client facilities and the NYC office

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically 7+ years building software, with substantial production-code experience and accountability
Hands-on software engineering experience and intent to remain hands-on
Willingness and demonstrated ability to understand unfamiliar business functions quickly
Shipped GenAI/LLM systems to production, beyond demos and notebooks
Built or owned an evaluation suite for a non-deterministic system
Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to become productive in unfamiliar codebases or languages
Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
Cloud-native delivery experience on AWS; GCP/Azure experience is a plus
Pre-sales experience and credibility with senior stakeholders
Comfort with ambiguity and ownership
Hands-on experience with Claude, Claude Code, and Cowork, including skills, workflows, MCP, integrations, connectors, and custom harnesses
Containers and orchestration experience with Kubernetes/ECS is a plus
Production CI/CD experience is a plus
Infrastructure-as-code experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform is a plus
Open-source contributions or public writing on applied AI is a plus
