About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide compliance and privacy program support to management across Providence St. Joseph Health and its Affiliates
  • Support an effective compliance program
  • Conduct investigative and research activities using mid-level techniques and practices
  • Develop greater expertise in regulatory, compliance, and privacy topics
  • Support hospitals, physician clinics, skilled nursing facilities, health plan, medical foundations, educational institutions, child care centers, in-home services, and Providence Strategic Management Services
  • Handle highly sensitive information
  • Travel overnight and commute routinely between facilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Compliance/privacy experience in a healthcare setting
  • 3 years progressive RIS internal audit, information security or compliance/privacy experience (preferred)
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (preferred)
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information
  • Some overnight travel and routine inter-facility commuting
