About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide patient-centered, coordinated access to Providence's facilities, institutes, and clinics
  • Foster and nurture relationships with existing patients and people seeking treatment
  • Navigate patients to physicians within the health network
  • Schedule appointments and classes
  • Provide tier 1 technical support for patient health applications
  • Serve as an entry point and informational resource for patients entering the health system
  • Provide high-touch, personalized assistance through the Patient Engagement Center across Providence St. Joseph Health regions and provider networks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • 2 years experience interacting with and engaging customers virtually over the phone
  • 1 year technical support experience preferred
  • Ability to work a Monday-Friday variable schedule, as early as 6:45 AM and as late as 7:00 PM
  • Ability to work the weekend schedule of 8:45 AM-5:15 PM
