About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own product strategy, roadmap, and development for ServiceNow
- Define architecture and platform strategy
- Own integration and enterprise architecture patterns
- Enable application lifecycle decisions, including rationalization, modernization, and retirement
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams using Agile/Scrum
- Establish platform governance and engineering standards
- Ensure quality, performance, and reliability while supporting delivery and continuous improvement
- Partner with stakeholders, developers, and product owners early in the lifecycle
- Design, operate, and continuously improve enterprise-scale services
- Guide technical decisions and deliver measurable outcomes in quality, cost efficiency, usability, and caregiver satisfaction
- Engineer resilient, secure, high-performance solutions
- Lead innovation, optimize platform performance and spend, strengthen disaster recovery readiness, and ensure predictable, reliable, production-ready releases
- Troubleshoot complex issues and drive problems to lasting resolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of related experience
- Strong experience in automation related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes
- Strong experience with n-tier solutions
- Strong experience with resilience modeling, failure mode analysis, and simulating service outages
- Strong experience translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture meeting Quality of Service expectations
- Strong experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups
- Strong experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions
- Advanced problem-solving experience using systematic procedures and root cause analysis
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, EA) preferred
- Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Application Portfolio Management preferred
- Solid understanding of CSDM and CI relationships preferred
- Experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst preferred
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills preferred
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations preferred
