About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support clinical research programs across the Providence Health System
- Develop Medicare Coverage Analyses for clinical trial protocols with billable services
- Complete comprehensive Medicare Coverage Analyses aligned with Medicare's Clinical Trial Policy
- Evaluate national medical guidelines, local practice guidelines, peer-reviewed publications, and local and national coverage determinations
- Account for all billable services within clinical trial protocols
- Partner with CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal policies
- Report to the Coverage Analysis Manager
- Collaborate with research entities within Providence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field, or 4 years of additional related experience
- 2 years of direct experience in Coverage Analysis development and interpretation of Medicare requirements for research
- 4 years of experience in research, billing, or healthcare administration preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare's Clinical Trial Policy
- Ability to interpret national medical guidelines, local practice guidelines, peer-reviewed publications, and local and national coverage determinations
- Ability to collaborate with CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams
- Ability to comply with federal regulations and internal policies
- Must uphold standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality
