About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • 5 or more years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer
  • Candidates must reside in Oregon or Washington state
  • Relocation is not available
  • Preferred: Master's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • Preferred: 8 years of data development experience
  • Advanced Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and NoSQL platforms
  • Advanced SQL and Python
  • Linux-based processing
  • OLAP and cloud data warehousing, including Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, BigQuery, and dimensional models
  • Unstructured and multimodal data engineering, including EHR/EMR, HL7, FHIR, APIs, and clinical notes
  • Modern application development frameworks, including FastAPI and Flask
  • Modern ETL/ELT tooling, including ADF, Glue, Airflow, dbt, NiFi, Informatica, and Fivetran
  • AI/ML, LLM, and prompt engineering, including LLM pipelines, RAG, LangChain/LlamaIndex, embeddings, and vector databases
