About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support to the Care Management team that coordinates care
  • Work closely as a healthcare team member
  • Perform complex tasks related to overall team functions and activities
  • Support activities identified during the initial and ongoing assessment and management of patients
  • Work under the supervision of the Regional Director of Care Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years in a hospital, clinical setting, or healthcare-related field
  • 3 years of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience
  • 3 years of clerical and computer experience
  • 3 years of knowledge of insurance billing and managed care
  • Some college-level coursework, high school diploma or GED equivalent, or some college-level coursework preferred particularly in Medical Terminology or Medical Assistance coursework
  • Medical Terminology or Medical Assistant, or equivalent education/experience
  • CHAA, or equivalent education/experience
  • CHAA certification if in California within 6 months (180 days) of hire
  • 3 years of EPIC Case Management and ADT Patient Access preferred
