About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee daily revenue cycle operations, including billing, collections, accounts receivable, claims processing, and account auditing
  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and organizational standards while meeting operational and financial goals
  • Monitor revenue cycle key performance metrics
  • Lead, coach, train, and evaluate staff performance, including timecard and PTO approvals
  • Resolve complex account and claims issues
  • Implement corrective actions and support process improvements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize workflows, reduce denials, and improve revenue outcomes
  • Maintain departmental policies, procedures, reporting, and effective communication across teams
  • Report to the Revenue Cycle Manager
  • Aid in development of annual revenue cycle goals
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 years of medical account collection experience
  • Track record of taking decisive action to implement new processes, solutions, or changes
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent education/experience (preferred)
  • 3 years of experience in lieu of degree
