About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment
- Own complex features throughout the development lifecycle, from design to deployment
- Develop new functionality and resolve defects with focus on quality and performance
- Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable code
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Engineers, Support teams, UX designers, and developers
- Participate in technical design discussions and architecture decisions
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices
- Support continuous integration, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Demonstrate completed features to internal stakeholders and customers
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate engineering capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java SE
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular (modern versions preferred)
- Experience developing enterprise-grade web applications
- Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and common design patterns
- Experience with relational databases and SQL, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar
- Experience with Git and modern source control workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration practices
- Experience working in Agile software development teams
- Ability to contribute across the software development lifecycle, including analysis, testing, and documentation
- Experience with NgRx or other Redux-style state management frameworks preferred
- Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed systems preferred
- Knowledge of web security concepts, authentication, and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect preferred
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes preferred
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred
- Experience optimizing application performance and scalability preferred
- Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience preferred
