Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with materials and presentations for conferences, seminars, and client meetings
Develop competency in web-based technologies, system analysis, and software development processes
Support clients through implementation, project phases, training, and ongoing use of technology applications and services
Gather, document, validate, and coordinate business requirements, project needs, and client expectations
Prepare and present status reports, analyses, deliverables, presentations, training materials, and client-facing communications
Research federal and state policy, legislation, industry requirements, and funding requirements
Define, document, and improve business processes and support practical business and technical solutions
Participate in proposal development teams by researching content, writing sections, coordinating contributions, and supporting submissions
Analyze large data sets and identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
Collect, enter, maintain, and quality-check project data and documentation
Provide project management support, including tracking activities, deliverables, risks, and follow-up items
Assist with project budgets, supporting documentation, and client invoices
Contribute to a collaborative team environment and perform other responsibilities as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required; education, business, or technical fields preferred
One to three years of relevant experience in K-12 education, public-sector programs, education technology, or a related field
Must be based in either the Charlotte or Raleigh, NC area, or Greenville, SC
Strong analytical, research, organizational, presentation, time management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented approach to analyzing and resolving business and technical issues
Ability to manage multiple tasks, clients, or priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Proven initiative, sound judgment, and ability to move work forward while seeking guidance when appropriate
Flexibility and willingness to embrace change, shifting priorities, and evolving client needs
Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for continuous learning
Commitment to exceptional client service and productive working relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
SQL experience preferred
