About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of client engagements
Facilitate client meetings, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions
Analyze program operations and identify opportunities for improvement
Lead proposal writing teams, presentations, and solution demonstrations
Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
Translate business needs into detailed system requirements and configuration specifications
Manage project tasks, deliverables, timelines, and action items
Track project progress and communicate status to stakeholders and leadership
Ensure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and contractual requirements
Analyze operational and program data to identify trends and opportunities
Prepare client-facing reports and executive-level summaries
Review and be the expert in business operations for service and efficiency improvements
Manage small projects, staff, and tasks with limited supervision
Participate in sales motions related to the practice
Supervise Business Analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience required
5+ years of relevant work experience
Master’s degree (MPA or government focused MBA) preferred
Ability to use sound judgment in completing tasks and to seek guidance when needed
Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets with accurate results
Ability to move projects forward within a specific timeline and budget while working at a detailed level
Commitment to exceptional client service
Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset
Ability to interact with various levels of management and with clients
Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity
Able to follow, critically evaluate, and improve upon current processes
Ability to recognize issues and identify solutions
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
