About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as project manager with understanding of client needs, technical best practices, and industry standards across project management, quality assurance and testing, software development lifecycle and system configuration, security and privacy, business process redesign, independent verification and validation, strategic planning, and procurement planning and execution
Understand complex state and federal regulations and requirements; analyze and interpret federal and state law and regulation
Review business operations for service and efficiency improvements
Independently manage complex projects, staff, and tasks with limited supervision
Manage daily project functions and client interaction
Develop and execute client communication plans and provide effective written and verbal communication
Identify and elicit requirements from key stakeholders
Facilitate client discussions
Identify gaps and shortcomings and determine necessary workarounds
Plan and monitor ongoing project tasks and delegate responsibilities
Assess best practices and compliance errors and provide technical assistance to clients
Potentially manage direct reports
Conduct market analysis and develop growth strategies
Identify, research, and qualify new sales opportunities and maintain opportunity information in the CRM system
Coordinate analysis and follow leads through pursuit, proposal, award, or closeout
Support complex proposal efforts and potentially lead teams developing proposal sections

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor degree or 10 years’ experience required; graduate degree preferred
5-10 years’ relevant work experience
Ability to prioritize initiatives and maintain progress in multiple efforts concurrently
Ability to research, analyze and interpret policy, legal briefs, and regulations
Strong commitment to translating ideas into actions and demonstrating outcomes
Ability to work independently and consistently achieve excellent results
Ability to work effectively with all members of project teams
Outstanding oral and written presentation skills
Demonstrated initiative and ability to identify new business opportunities and up-sell to existing customers
Must be available during set working hours
Must have a safe, private, and distraction-free work environment
Must be able to give full attention to PCG job duties
