About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to designing, configuring, and developing custom forms, templates, and workflows
- Produce clean, efficient code from functional and non-functional specifications
- Integrate software components and third-party programs
- Troubleshoot, debug, update, and upgrade existing software
- Gather, evaluate, and document customer use cases and business processes
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
- Apply low-code platforms and configuration methodology
- Contribute to project reports including Project Schedule, Quality Management Plan, Testing Plan, and Conversion Plan
- Support clients and stakeholders in planning and strategy discussions to address risks and issues
- Help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Apply software development life cycle methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience required
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Ability to understand service delivery systems for programs administered by states and monitored by federal regulators
- Ability to understand and be an expert in complex federal regulations and requirements
- Strong Microsoft Office applications skills, especially data analytics using ACCESS, SQL, and SPSS
- Ability to use sound judgment and seek guidance when needed
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large data sets
- Ability to move projects forward within a specific timeline and budget while working at a detailed level
- Experience with COTS, SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS solutions
- Experience in all system development life cycle phases using Agile, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid Agile approaches
- Experience implementing integrated solutions to modernize legacy systems and/or mainframe technology through n-tier-based solutions
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Visual Studio, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, SQL, and Oracle
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, TCP, FTP, and SSH
- Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of PMBOK, CMMI, Prosci OCM, IEEE, and SEI standards
- Desirable certifications include Certified DevOps Project Manager, Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Certified, Certified Software Test Manager, Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner, and ITIL Certified
- Outstanding written and oral communication
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Strong work ethic and ability to support multiple projects with multiple deadlines
- Must be available during set working hours
- Must have a safe, private, and distraction-free work environment
