About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables supporting business goals
  • Set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
  • Plan, estimate, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Use and refine best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend budget changes when necessary
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingencies
  • Brief project metrics to project stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk management, root cause analysis, likelihood and impact assessments, and risk responses
  • Perform schedule critical path and variance analysis
  • Develop project artifacts
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, upper management, and other departments
  • Travel to the office or other locations for team and client meetings as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor degree required
  • 5+ years’ technical project management experience
  • Understanding of Agile Development Processes
  • 3-5 years of experience with MS Project
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Ability to work with team members and contractors from a broad spectrum of disciplines
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from upper management, clients, and other departments
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Experience conducting research into project-related issues and products
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to participate effectively in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, CSM, CAPM) strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience conducting quantitative and qualitative risk management, root cause analysis, likelihood and impact assessments, and application of risk responses
  • 1-3 years’ experience with Power BI dashboard reporting
  • 1-3 years’ experience with schedule critical path methodology
  • 3-5 years’ experience with Agile/Waterfall hybrid project management
  • 3-5 years’ experience briefing project metrics to project stakeholders and senior leadership
  • 1-3 years’ experience in schedule variance analysis utilizing PMI metrics
  • 3-5 years’ experience developing project artifacts
  • Must be available during set working hours
  • Must have a safe, private, and distraction-free work environment
  • Must be able to give full attention to PCG job duties
