About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement Artificial Intelligence–based solutions for R&D and innovation projects, from conception through validation
- Perform data modeling, analysis, and processing using data science and machine learning techniques
- Implement, test, and validate models and solutions in real or simulated environments
- Prepare technical project proposals, including scope definition, methodological approach, deliverables, and technical estimates
- Engage with client companies participating in R&D and innovation projects, understanding their needs and translating them into structured technology solutions
- Execute research and innovation projects, ensuring technical quality, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with defined objectives
- Validate technical results, including models, algorithms, prototypes, and reports
- Support market mapping by identifying trends and relevant industry needs for AI applications
- Contribute to the development of the Center’s technology solutions and portfolio
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams—including researchers, business professionals, and analysts—to contribute to project success
- Document solutions, processes, and lessons learned, contributing to institutional knowledge management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Hands-on experience developing Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science solutions
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python) and AI libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Experience with data processing, analysis, and modeling
- Ability to structure technical solutions based on real-world problems
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Organization, autonomy, and a results-oriented mindset
- Analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems
- Proactive approach and strong sense of responsibility
- Master’s degree or specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience with applied projects for companies or industry (preferred)
- Knowledge of NLP, computer vision, optimization, intelligent systems, or AI applied to industry (preferred)
- Experience with model deployment (MLOps, APIs, cloud platforms) (preferred)
- Experience working in innovation environments (research and innovation institutions, startups, hubs, or research centers) (preferred)
- Intermediate or advanced English proficiency (preferred)
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously (preferred)
- Interest in continuous learning and staying current with technology trends (preferred)
