Junior Billing Analyst, Refunds

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help ensure data integrity and compliance with financial refund processes in accordance with current policies for undergraduate distance learning programs
- Ensure that requests for refunds are processed accurately, including reviewing residual balance calculations to ensure the correct refund of amounts or collection of any outstanding residual balance
- Provide responses to requests, indicating the need for data corrections, denying refunds with supporting reasons, or confirming that the refund has been processed
- Coordinate with the Corporate Payments Department to ensure refunds are processed within statutory deadlines and avoid potential fines
- Deliver training sessions and presentations on technical content to internal and external customers to support the proper execution of processes and compliance with regulations and legislation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Two years of experience in billing, preferably at distance learning institutions
- Knowledge of the Lyceum platform is a plus
- Experience in distance learning is a plus
- Microsoft Office, including Word, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
- Power BI for dashboard development
- Customer service
- Knowledge of process automation and robotic process automation (RPA)
