About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain the business’s official dashboards in Looker, ensuring a high level of usability and addressing leadership’s questions
Create and maintain daily monitoring dashboards for the Growth squad’s A/B tests
Develop analytical views of user behavior, such as cohorts, LTV, CAC, and churn/attrition risk
Build and monitor growth funnel dashboards based on the AARRR framework, including the North Star Metric and Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Revenue, and Referral KPIs
Collaborate with the Data Engineer on structuring data cubes, consumption layers, and the semantic layer
Translate business needs into clear requirements for data sources such as LMS, CRM, RD Station, and ERP systems
Identify inconsistencies in data and reports, validating and reviewing metrics with business and engineering teams
Facilitate data access for Marketing, Finance, Sales, Product, and Operations
Act as a Business Translator, converting findings into action plans for non-technical leaders
Support the Product Owner in prioritizing the dashboards and Explorers backlog
Support the validation of events mapped in GTM and Amplitude
Propose visual and usability improvements for existing dashboards
Prepare analyses and projections to support business decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree completed; a specialization in data or a related field is preferred
Solid senior-level experience in BI, Data Analytics, or related fields
Advanced proficiency with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase
Strong SQL skills for querying, aggregation, and analysis, including query optimization
Knowledge of data visualization best practices
Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable metrics
Understanding of digital business metrics, particularly in SaaS, subscription, or EdTech environments
Basic knowledge of applied statistics for interpreting A/B test results
Basic knowledge of dimensional modeling, including Star Schema
Knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Lake concepts
Ability to translate business needs into data and derive insights through analytical thinking
Preferred: experience with Looker, including Explorers and LookML
Preferred: knowledge of Amplitude and GA4
Preferred: experience with growth funnel dashboards based on the AARRR framework and A/B testing
Preferred: knowledge of interface design principles applied to dashboards
Preferred: basic Python knowledge for exploratory analysis and automation
Preferred: familiarity with dbt or the data ecosystem, including RD Station Marketing/CRM, Moodle/Canvas, and GA4
Preferred: previous experience building business reports and generating business insights
