About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise and coordinate Field Supervisors/Coordinators
Supervise and coordinate Field Agents/Enumerators
Ensure Field Agents understand and follow data collection protocols and guidelines
Conduct regular field visits to monitor data collection
Provide on-site training and support to Field Agents
Review completed questionnaires for accuracy and completeness
Ensure timely submission of completed questionnaires
Address field issues and challenges faced by Field Agents
Maintain communication with the Field Associate Manager and Field Coordinator
Prepare regular reports on field activities and data collection progress
Ensure data collection equipment is maintained and functional
Promote and uphold Pula’s values and mission
Perform other duties assigned by the Field Associate Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Business, Development Studies, Economics, Agriculture or another related field; a Master's degree is preferred
Must have a smartphone with Android version 7 or above and access to Google Play Store
Good internet access
Enough storage space
GPS-enabled smartphone
Experience in data collection and working with farmers in rural settings is advantageous
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in local languages spoken in the district
Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
Ability to manage checklists, work plans, and logistics
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle field challenges
Valid bank or mobile money account for financial transactions
Comfortable speaking relevant local languages and moving around rural areas
