About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver an exceptional dining experience for every guest
  • Support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager
  • Oversee hiring, training, supervision, and development of hourly staff
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and prepare end-of-shift reports
  • Manage cash handling, security protocols, inventory, labor schedules, and waste reduction
  • Assist with Daily Sales Summaries, discounts, voids, charitable donations, vendor orders, and invoice entry
  • Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained and arrange repairs
  • Enforce company policies, food safety, cleanliness, liquor service, and security standards
  • Coordinate restaurant operations, labor targets, food and liquor costs, guest satisfaction, and events
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and administer disciplinary actions as needed
  • Assist with onboarding, scheduling, payroll accuracy, and personnel documentation
  • Monitor guest interactions and food and beverage quality
  • Support marketing initiatives, community engagement, and promotional events
  • Complete operational-calendar tasks and document workflows and procedures
  • Provide emergency coverage, field off-shift calls, and participate in large company events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years management experience, preferably in the Hospitality/Restaurant field
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local health and labor laws and regulations
  • Ability to train, develop, and supervise staff
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively while maintaining accountability
  • Experience in performance evaluation and constructive feedback
  • Conflict resolution and personnel issue management skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software applications quickly
  • Proficiency in accounting software, POS systems, and data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of financial statements, including P&L, labor reports, cost of goods, sales, and product mix
  • Successful completion of company training program, including mandatory sexual harassment training, within 8 weeks of start date
  • ServSafe certification must be obtained within 8 weeks of start date and maintained throughout employment
  • TIPS alcohol certification must be obtained within 8 weeks of start date and maintained throughout employment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand and remain on feet for extended periods, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors in varying conditions
  • Evening, weekend, holiday, and emergency schedule availability
