Key responsibilities & impact

Own features and systems end-to-end, from user conversations and requirements definition through architecture, implementation, and production iteration
Convert unstructured permitting documents, city regulations, and jurisdiction workflows into fast, reliable product experiences
Build with AI agents by directing, reviewing, and shipping agent-driven work while maintaining quality
Make technical and product decisions that directly affect customers and their commercial projects
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and end-users to accelerate product development
Raise engineering standards through design reviews, mentorship, and personal example

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of software engineering experience
Track record of owning significant product surface end-to-end, from requirements through production
Fluency in modern full-stack development; experience with TypeScript, React, Google Cloud, or similar technologies
Real experience building with AI coding agents and LLM-powered features, including shipping work where agents performed substantial implementation
Ability to architect durable systems while making pragmatic tradeoffs
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
Willing and able to work in person at the downtown San Francisco office 4 days a week
Experience in construction tech, govtech, proptech, or similar domains is nice to have
Experience designing evaluations or improving reliability of LLM-powered features in production is nice to have
Startup experience helping build a team is nice to have
Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical direction across teams is nice to have
Must address U.S. work authorization and visa sponsorship requirements
