About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in storyboarding, solution design, and grooming sessions to understand requirements and provide feedback
Analyze business requirements, perform static reviews, and compile QA test checklists for new product features and functionalities
Derive high-level test scenarios and detailed test cases using appropriate test design techniques
Ensure test cases maintain traceability to requirements
Contribute to building API and UI automation frameworks and maintain the automated regression test suite
Define test approaches, derive structured test plans, and coordinate test activities
Execute manual and automated quality assurance test cases
Ensure developed functionality satisfies requirements and aligns with specifications
Track and record test execution results, interpret results, and derive insights
Publish results and communicate test execution status clearly with relevant stakeholders
Work with the development team to research and resolve issues found during testing
Create and maintain performance test scripts and conduct performance tests on demand
Perform non-functional testing, including security and accessibility testing
Test AI-powered and conversational features by validating response accuracy, data consistency, contextual relevance, workflow behavior, and integration with underlying systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
1+ years of hands-on experience in Web application and API automation
Strong knowledge of software testing processes, practices, and test design techniques
Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases and preparing defect reports
Experience with JavaScript-based test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and Mocha would be advantageous
Knowledge of API testing frameworks: REST Assured and Postman
Prior experience with Git, CI/CD process, and Bash Scripting
Prior experience using Jira/Confluence for ticket and document management
Ability to maintain high-quality standards by balancing quality, flexibility, and timely delivery
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
ISTQB foundation level qualification will be an added advantage
Experience with performance testing tools JMeter and Gatling will be an added advantage
Experience in Application Security testing, such as Burp Suite, would be an added advantage
Hands-on experience with AWS, OCI, or other cloud service providers would be an added advantage
Hands-on experience using Generative AI/LLM tools to improve test design, automation, debugging, defect analysis, and QA productivity would be an added advantage
Knowledge of AI/LLM evaluation techniques such as accuracy, relevance, consistency, hallucination detection, regression evaluation, and non-deterministic response validation would be an added advantage
