About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain technical account plans covering customer architecture, constraints, roadmap, current Everpure deployments, whitespace and next plays
Serve as the go-to technical counterpart for infrastructure architects, storage and platform engineering leaders, and technology executives
Lead complex technical pursuits from discovery through decision
Design solutions, perform sizing, respond to RFIs and RFPs, run proofs of concept and lab evaluations, and lead competitive bake-offs
Help customers design container, storage and data layers for AI at scale
Run motions around Kubernetes and OpenShift data services, virtualization transitions, NVMe over TCP and Ethernet block, object storage, and cyber resilience
Coordinate specialists, professional services and partner engineers and manage technical workstreams
Partner with the GAM on account planning, forecasting and pipeline hygiene
Represent demanding financial-institution requirements to product management and help shape roadmap priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ten or more years in enterprise infrastructure, with at least five years in a customer-facing presales, solutions architecture or field engineering role
Direct experience covering large financial services institutions strongly expected
Hands-on command of enterprise block, file and object storage, data protection and replication, and production-load behavior
Working fluency across virtualization, Kubernetes and container platforms, especially OpenShift
Knowledge of storage networking: Ethernet, NVMe over TCP, RDMA and Fibre Channel
Experience with at least one major public cloud
Strong executive communication skills
Track record of winning technical evaluations against established storage and infrastructure vendors
Experience building displacement cases that withstand customer scrutiny
Familiarity with analytics and lakehouse platforms, data governance and data discovery strongly preferred
Exposure to GPU infrastructure and AI workloads is a plus
Relevant certifications are preferred/a plus
Prior Everpure FlashArray, FlashBlade or Portworx experience is a plus but not required
