About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own technical leadership of MSP opportunities end to end, including discovery, solution design, sizing, competitive positioning, POCs and technical close
Define end-to-end service architecture covering multi-tenancy, automation, provisioning, operational models and integration with MSP technology stacks
Model and influence commercial constructs including unit economics, cost per tenant, Evergreen//One and consumption models
Displace competitors in MSP environments and position FlashArray, FlashBlade, Portworx and Everpure Data Intelligence
Build technical credibility with MSP architects, practice leads and CTOs
Develop partner-side technical champions
Feed MSP requirements into the global MSP programme and Product Management
Contribute reusable intellectual property such as reference architectures, sizing guides and service blueprints from live engagements

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in pre-sales, solutions architecture or technical leadership
Demonstrable record of winning partner-led business
Direct experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
Understanding of how MSPs build, price, operate and sell managed services
Experience with block, file and object storage
Experience with hybrid and cloud data services
Experience with Kubernetes and storage-as-a-service models
Commercial fluency in consumption economics, TCO and margin
Outstanding written, diagrammatic and verbal communication
Executive presence with CTOs and technical whiteboard sessions
Entrepreneurial and ambitious mindset
Comfortable building a practice rather than inheriting one
