About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Recruit qualified construction professionals for available openings
Independently source and headhunt passive and active candidates
Conduct candidate outreach, discovery, and screening
Evaluate candidate qualifications against position requirements
Verify applicable construction experience, project background, credentials, and other required qualifications
Prepare accurate and complete candidate submissions
Manage candidate communication throughout the recruiting process
Follow candidates through interviews, offers, and placement
Maintain an active candidate pipeline and consistent follow-up
Recruit across construction and skilled construction positions nationwide, including project managers, project engineers, superintendents, construction managers, estimators, preconstruction professionals, electrical, mechanical, MEP, commercial, and healthcare construction professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years of professional recruiting experience
Demonstrated experience recruiting within the construction industry
Full-cycle recruiting experience
Strong candidate sourcing and headhunting skills
Experience independently identifying and engaging passive construction candidates
Strong candidate screening and qualification skills
Ability to evaluate construction experience against detailed position requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to independently manage multiple searches and candidate pipelines
Established sourcing methods and ability to recruit without basic recruiter training
Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor on a commission-only basis
Must be U.S.-based
Not intended for new or entry-level recruiters
