About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide operational supervision, development, support, and guidance to the Managed Benefits Team
  • Facilitate clear and effective employee and client communication
  • Create and deliver proactive employee training sessions based on client needs and opportunities
  • Lead internal and external collaboration to establish client success
  • Manage the internal recruiting and onboarding process for new hires to the Managed Benefits Team
  • Support team members in creating SOPs for managed benefits services and support
  • Collaborate with leadership on service improvements, resource allocation, and strategic planning
  • Own and address escalations and create action plans, supporting the team and clients
  • Perform supervisory duties including employee performance management, recognition and reward, time and attendance tracking, payroll management and approval, and internal employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Employee mentorship, coaching and development
  • Advanced understanding of operational and benefits-related best practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Ability to learn and navigate relevant systems and platforms
  • Ability to organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to deliver clear and effective presentations
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of three (3) years' related experience preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years of related benefits and/or HCM experience preferred
  • Experience with online project boards preferred, such as Smartsheet
  • SHRM/PHR/CEBS Certification preferred
  • Demonstrated eye for process improvement
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to participate in video conferences/meetings
